# What to mix with pineapple Vodka?

My GF bought a bottle, and mixed it with Pineapple Juice. Way to pineapply and too sweet. Not good. She wants something that will contrast and make a nice cocktail, maybe some other fruit juice.

Vodka tonic has always been my go-to. While plain with lime is the stand-by, whenever I’ve used flavored vodkas it’s a nice flavor, not too sweet, and just the nice subtle flavor that was meant with stuff like Absolut makes. I wouldn’t generally mix a flavored vodka with fruit juice personally.

My go-to addition for vodka is ice. A couple cubes in a rocks glass, healthy splash of vodka, sip appreciatively. If the first sip is a tad harsh, rest assured that the ice is melting.

\*\*Stan \*\*- can you clarify. Was the pineapple juice poured into the bottle with the vodka, so separating them would be difficult?
I think a few of the replies are assuming it was mixed after being poured, and you still have pristine vodka available.

No, it’s pineapple \*flavored \*vodka. Don’t ask how, we probably don’t want to know.
Nothing else too sweet. Ginger ale is really good, and I like to add just a splash of grenadine for pretty pretty.
Coconut milk or juice, sure. Instant vodka pina colada.
A “Fauxito” of sorts: muddle some mint leaves and add pineapple vodka and club soda, with or without lime juice.
Cranberry juice
Raspberry puree\* and seltzer.
Heck, just seltzer, for that matter.
\*Dang it. Prince song stuck in head now.

Vodka + Pineapple + Cranberry = [Bay Breeze](http://www.drinksmixer.com/drink1091.html). I think I’d rather use unflavored vodka and pineapple juice, but if I had pineapple-flavored vodka, that’s what I’d do.

White wine, limoncello, pineapple chunks and diced lemon (peel and all). Fruity white sangria. It’s healthy if you eat the fruit.
