For a long time I was Daria. Well Daria with shades of Jane. I you want to talk about my SO and I, we’re Niles and Daphne. Except oddly he’s the metrosexual Englishman and I’m the funky American. And not as daft as Daphne. But whenever I see them I get shivers down my spine. ---

Oh, I am so many different people. Oddly tho, some of them are male. I have Chandler Bing’s sense of humor, George Costanza’s luck in romance, Ross Geller’s hopeless romanticism (a bad mix with George’s luck) The females that borrow traits from me are Dorothy Zbornak’s feeling that she’s the only sane person in the room, Eliot Ried’s almost compulsive attention to detail at work. Grace Adler’s choice of friends…(yeah, I’m kind of a fag hag. I admit it) oh and most of all, Roseann Conner’s appetite. 😃 ---

The Wife tells me that I am The Professor from Gilligan’s Island. According to Her, I really could build a nuclear reactor out of coconuts, but would be unable to fix something simple, like a two-foot hole in a boat. Which is odd, as I have always considered myself more a Herman Munster type. ---

I like to think that me and my best friend are like **JD and Turk** from **Scrubs** , except I’ve got a personality more like Turk while my best friend is the one who’s married but a personality more like JD. Oh, and I’m not a seriously hot black guy either. Maybe we’re more like **Bert and Ernie** , instead. Yeah, that’s better. ---

I see myself as being very much like John Locke from Lost. I’m often perceived as brilliant, dumb as a back of rocks, inept, resourceful…Often by the same people…I’m prone to philosophical musings. People usually don’t know what to expect from me (I really don’t either) or know too much about where a guy like me comes from, but they do know I’m a warm hearted bastard who thinks nothing of going the extra mile to help someone. I can be both extremely insightful and totally blind. ---

I think I’m kind of a cross between Jim Halpert and Ryan the Temp from The Office. Stylistically, I’m probably closer to Ryan - similar hair and general look (but a bit older, taller and heavier). Same “Manhattan Guy” MBA vibe. I like to throw out bullshit “consulting speak” at work (mostly I’m being ironic though). On the other hand, I’m more laid back like Jim. Similar sarcastic humor. etc. ---
