Well, in the Zombie Survival Guide, it says they eat, but don’t digest or poop. The meat just sits there in the system, and one dissected zombie had over 300 lbs of meat in his diesgestive track.

So, eventually, you’d expect that they’d get pretty slow. If you can survive the onslaught for a few weeks, the bloated zombies dragging their meatsacks around by that point should be slow, huge, easy targets.

Yeah, but these are the shambling zombies anyway. And the book says that eventually, it’ll just squirt out the anus from sheer force or explode their bellies(which doesn’t matter, because it’s the brain that keeps them walking).

Er, point of fact: the Trioxin-spawned zombies in the last movie (and maybe in the second one, too?) could bit people, who then died and rose again as zombies.

I suppose the original zombie could have had traces of Trioxin in it’s system that could affect the people the zombie bit, but the 2nd generation zombies seemed to be infectious, too.

Sorry I never saw the third movie. But in RoLD I and II those who were eaten remained dead unless they were exposed to the chemical (like Trash).

Mind you shouldn’t anyone rained on also be poisined and die from the chemical and then get up and go hunting for brains?

Damn hard to keep logic working with zombies, which is porbably why no matter how slow and delapidated they always seem to win.
