Don’t forget about Our Winter of Missed Content when the boards were down for over a couple months (December 2001 to February 2002, IIRC). These counts would be even higher if it weren’t for OWoMC. And who’s to say it won’t happen again? :eek: ---

Is there a post-count discrimination, i mean, do people look at someone’s post-count, and seeing that it’s low, then disregard what they have to say? Doe having a high post-count lend more credibility to what you say? ---

I don’t think people pay attention to post count in and of itself, **dlknox**. More like posting _history_. For example, there’s a number of posters that, in my opinion, tend to have informative and/or interesting and/or well researched posts. Those people tend to have more credibility to me. Conversely, there’s a number of posters that tend to write factually wrong and/or poorly researched and/or inflammatory posts. Those people tend to have less credibility to me. Many people I’ve simply formed no opinion on. ---
