So what was the problem this time? SDMB seemed to have been down with a database error (not comm, since I could ping it OK) all morning. Hamsters not fed over the weekend? ---

FYI, my guess is it was down from about 2:08AM thru 11:37AM Monday, CTT (Chi-Town Time). Not that it matters; I’m just showing off my psychic ability. ---

Geez, I was hoping that they revamped the servers during the down time, but all still seems slow. ---

Same problem as before; the database became corrupted. Jerry was able to patch it and we got back up pretty quickly, considering. your humble TubaDiva Administrator ---

I`m no expert in the matter, but I would imagine that they could buy lots of computer stuff with what one Purple Flying Pony would cost. ---
