**Abbie**. For absurd - the whole point to the example of the cat was to illustrate how absurd quantum physics principles appear when played out at the macro, i.e., our, level. Or **Spooky** - fr Einstein’s phrase for quantum entanglement “spooky action at a distance.” ---

At what point would the “name” wave function collapse? Unless it’s written on the collar, opening the box wouldn’t do it. I suppose that asking the owner might do it, but suppose he lied? ---
