The only true badguy role I can remember him playing was that of the rat mobster in film **FX**. Didn’t know who he was when I first saw it so I had no problem accepting as your basic slimy goom-bah. Later, after watching him on L&O for so long, seeing FX again he seemed so out of place to me… ---

A very raw and unlikeable cop. The guy had serious chops as a dramatic heavy long before L&O. mm ---
