The [Rapidan River](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rapidan_River) in Greene County, VA. It starts in the Blue Ridge mountains in Shenandoah National Park and goes East for 88 miles where it merges with the Rappahannock River just West of Fredericksburg, VA. Supposed to be a great river for fishing. ---

The Trinity River here in Fort Worth on a nice long walk yesterday at dusk. Crossed not only by pedestrian bridge but also on a low water dam. Saw fireworks going off somewhere back towards the zoo last night. It was a really nice evening to be out. ---

That would have been while returning from our last trip to Dallas, so it would be the[San Jacinto Rive](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/San_Jacinto_River_(Texas))r. In mid-July, we’ll be driving to Little Rock, so we will cross it again. ---
