# What was the last single-action revolver design?

Some versions of the [Chiappa Rhino](http://www.americanrifleman.org/articles/chiappa-rhino-revolver-review/) are double-action, but you have to admit it’s different.

From what I’ve read, all versions of the revolver are double-action. All double-action revolvers can be fired in single-action mode, but that’s not really what I was thinking about.

It is an interesting design though - probably the only major (ie, not largely based on internal workings) revolver design development in more than a century, I’d say.
