# What was the least "date-like" date you've ever been on?

A guy turned up, answering our flatmate wanted ad.

I was the only one available to talk to him since my other flatmates had bolted when my boyfriend turned up and we began the tearful recriminatory break-up that was so long overdue.

I was running between rooms, asking one about pets and cooking than back to assure the other that no there really was no chance, and please stop crying.

Within a week I was in a relationship with the flatmate that lasted until his visa expired and he had to leave the country. (waves) Hi Boston!

And their mortality rate would be considered intolerable by modern parents. Most of us, anyway.
