It must have been in the 60’s (possibly late) or early 70’s. But it was about a clan of cavemen that somehow had gotten transferred to the present day. It seems like the theme song was something like: It’s about time, It’s about space… Anyone? Also, there was a cartoon where a little boy rode on the back of his flying robot (possibly some sort of super hero?). Anyone? ---

The second one you want is probably [Big Guy and Rusty The Boy Robot](http://www.bigguyandrusty.com/) which has had an earlier incarnation than this. I think. Or I may be waaaaaay off. ---

This series apparently inspired a lot of kids who wanted their own flying robots. Wow…after preview I see you’ve gotten some other options. Let us know which is your show. ---

In the second season of _It’s About Time_, didn’t the cavemen come back with the astronauts to modern day? Or maybe it was the series fanale. But I do seem to remember the cavemen coming into their future. On a personal note, I’m glad other people remember this show at all. I’ve never been able to successfully forget it, but lots of other people have, and look at me like I’m crazy when I mention it. Not that it comes up much in general conversation, mind you. ---

I suppose I should be ashamed to admit that, WHEN I WAS ONLY A KID, I liked the show “It’s About Time” I remember one episode where the two astronauts found out that the cave couple that were “hosting” them weren’t married(seems the institution had been invented yet) So they tried to hold a marriage ceremony. And yes, later, they came back to their own time, along with Dad, Mom, and the two kids. (Once Mom tried “sacrificing” to the god of the garbage disposal.) ---

**Kalessa** is right. In the first season, the astronauts went back in time. In the second season, the cave people returned with them. ---

There’s a show called “Space Kidettes” /NBC (debut) Children in Outer Hanna-Barbera Space. Take a look at the picture. Does that kid not have an eerie similarity to the Great Gazoo from the Flintstones?
