Was it in 1979? Going from what Zuma said, I checked IMDB and Moonrakers release date according to that site was June 29, 1979. That would be a week before 7/7/79, so that could be it if the June 29 date was a early release only in certain theaters and 7/7/79 was for the rest of the country. Just a guess. ETA Live and Let Die was June 27, 1973 ---

What college (or colleges) was this at? Can you be more specific than just that it was in the 1970’s? How many of these pieces of grafitti did you see? (Dozens? Hundreds?) How was it written? Did they all look more or less identical or was it all in different sizes and writing styles?
