Does it count in reverse? 'cause I had an affair with an airline employee based out of SDQ while living in Stamford, CT, and for about eight months I’d see her on at least a bi-weekly basis. That’s 1570 miles one way or 3140 round trip. Though strictly speaking, somewhat less, as I did go pick her up (and drop) at JFK. ---

500 miles. I lived in DC for a couple of years out of grad school, and my girlfriend, now wife, stayed home. By the end of our time, I was going home, or she was visiting, about once a month. ---

Google maps says over 2,600 miles as the car drives, but I flew most of it. DC suburbs to Orange County, CA. I’m not sure it counts for the thread as **Mama Zappa** and I were legally married at the time - to each other even! Still, a memorable weekend “conjugal visit”. 😃 I think that was the trip where I got a really cheap plane ticket, but was running late to the airport and accidentally parked in the hourly lot. The parking for the weekend cost more than my plane ticket! :smack: ---
