Another vote for _Hallowed Be Thy Name_

What a great tune.

And I agree with all who have listed the _Powerslave_ album as their finest moment.

Funny thing, of all the music from my youth, they are one of the few bands I still listen to.

Debut was the best album by far, when they were young, fresh, and fast.

Running Free  
and  
Sanctuary for best songs.

Ahhh, for the days when the music called “metal” didn’t sound like it was a recording of growling monkeys.

And Judas Priest a gay name? Back in the 80’ we didn’t KNOW that Rob Halford was gay. Oh sure, the leather hats might have given it away, but we were not that bright.

**Powerslave**'Tell me why I had to be a powerslave. I don ‘t want to die, I’m a god, why can’t I live on!’ and **The Number of the Beast** ‘Six! Six! Six! The number of the beast! Hell and blood are going to be released.’ are my two faves. The **Live After Death** album pretty much kicks ass if you only get one. Cool. Thanks for asking.

Another vote for **Sun and Steel** here. Also **Drifter** , **Killers** and what the heck, **Women In Uniform** for the great singalong chorus. 😛
