My brother found a large, heavy color tv in the garbage down the hill from where we lived, about 1979, so with my help we carried it up the hill and plugged it in. It worked! We were so excited. It was like we had found King Tut’s Treasure or something. Dad finally broke down and bought us a new color tv several years later, but for years we watched that huge junker tv.
