# What was your first remembered presidential activity?

When Hubert Humphrey was running for president my brother would chant “Dump the Hump! Dump the Hump!” whenever there was something about it on tv.

I watched Richard Nixon’s first inauguration on television. When they played _Hail to the Chief,_ an announcer said that Nixon said that was his favorite song. A naive 14 year-old, I didn’t know that is what they always play that for every president. I thought it really was Nixon’s personal favorite song.
