Series 1 through 5 are on Disney+ in the UK, but 6 hasn’t appeared there yet. Is Hulu affiliated with Disney+, Amazon Prime, or somewhere else? ---

Nandor trying to clean things with a roll of paper towels… Not a paper towel, but an entire roll as if it’s a giant sponge… That is maybe my favorite thing this season. ---

I rewatched the whole series just for something spooky and funny for Halloween time. I’m not really loving S6. It’s not awful but it’s just not making me laugh as much. it feels tired and unfocused. If it was going to continue after this season, I’d still watch, but as it’s ending, it’s kind of sad it feels like it’s deflating instead of going out with a bang. I do expect the last episode or two will be better. ---

Anyway, in the most recent episode there was a couplet of dialog between Laszlo and Nadja that I think shows how brilliant the writing is. **Nadja:** “Are you saying that I’m an idiot?!” **Laszlo:** “Of course not, what an idiotic thing to say.” That just seemed to encapsulate their relationship perfectly, and for some reason I couldn’t stop cracking up. Matt Berry’s delivery also helps immensely. ---

I used to find the show delightfully, absurdly funny. Now the first few episodes of this season have me going ‘meh’. I don’t know if it’s the show or just me. O’Brien has one of those faces where you think ‘what else did I see this guy in?’ I IMDB’ed him and nothing he’s acted in really made me say ‘oh yeah, _ **that’s** _ where I saw him before’. ---

Some episodes early in the current sixth season weren’t really very funny but I’ve enjoyed the recent ones. This week’s episode (the ninth of the season, called “Come Out and Play”) is particularly good, though it helps to be familiar with what it’s an homage to. Only two more episodes after this, with the finale on December 16. ---
