Not fear as such but creeps me out is representations of mythical/fantasy creatures that are part human and part non mammal. Mermaids creep me out but not Satyrs or Centaurs and the bloke in The Fly made me feel sick to my stomach. ---

Glass bulbs of any kind. I hate changing them. I imagine the thin glass shattering as I unscrew the bulb and tiny glass slivers getting embedded under my fingernails, in my palms, and in the veins of my wrists. I sweat and shiver when I have to change the damn things. I can’t watch the scene in Die Hard where Bruce Willis has to walk on broken glass while barefoot. I even had to retype this post about 15 times because my fingers are spazzing out, thinking about all those tiny lancing glass shards of dooooooom. ---

Just for you, they make Kevlar lined leather gloves (Police use them for searching perps). Not really that expensive, buy a pair and change bulbs with a smile. When I find a bulb that isn’t going easy, I go put my Kevlar gloves on, you betcha.🆒 ---

In high school I went on a cruise with the family, and I remember sitting on the deck at night in the middle of the ocean seeing nothing for miles and miles. Looking down at this black flowing ocean and having no idea what is underneath me, or how big it is was downright frightening. Aside from being surrounded by a legion of ants, I can’t think of anything more frightening.
