> Many of mine have been mentioned, but not **Fargo**.

> There’s also **Shakespeare in Love**. There’s also **Dark City** , which was basically a much smarter version of the **The Matrix** (and where the Wachowskis stole all the best concepts from).

Actually, the Wachowskis stole their best concepts for The Matrix from the anime Ghost in the Shell. Right down to the scrolling character visuals.

Office Space
Good Will Hunting
The Rock
The Hunt for Red October
Crimson Tide
The Silence of the Lambs
Jurassic Park
The Fugative
Forest Gump
Titianic
There’s Something About Mary
Braveheart
Apollo 13
Heat

> I’d forgotten Magnolia came out in 1999. I can’t believe I saw that in the theater 10 years ago!

I saw it on Magnolia St. (the street for which the movie was named).

In addition to all the others already mentioned…
_The Fisher King
Dumb And Dumber
Jacob’s Ladder_

The 1990’s were pretty fertile ground for quality flicks, eh?

**The Iron Giant**
