I hit the little preview button (looks like a computer monitor) on the bottom right before I post, if I’m writing something big. That lets me see it all to proofread. I also only get 6 lines in the edit window on my phone. ---

No tools or plugins involved. I use Sam’s Simple theme, if that has any relevance. (My phone has a 6.79 inch screen that is 1080x2460.) ---

I don’t know. I don’t see any way to find that information on my phone. Oh wait I found it! Under my profile I have to scroll all the way to the right to see the Interface tab. I am also using Sam’s Simple Theme. ---

You go into your settings, under the gear icon. The list at the top, with account, security, profile, etc? Drag that line of options to the left to expose more. One of them is “interface”. ---

Changing my theme to Sam’s Simple didn’t change the size of my text box. I have an Android phone (Galaxy 22). Do you two perhaps have iPhones? ---

**aceplace57** has had two dedicated pit threads over 10+ years. And a couple of mentions upthread. Generally he’s viewed as a clueless idiot almost too stupid to operate a keyboard, but at least he’s very opinionated. OTOH he seldom picks a fight or says anything moddable. Since pig-blind stupidity is apparently a protected class around here. Anyhow, here’s his latest addition to his stupid _oerve_. We’re discussing the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Milton, which many people lived through the bad parts of. And then he drops this turd: `https://boards.straightdope.com/t/2024-hurricane-season/1003076/298` The next 30 posts are people pressing the edges of what can be said in MPSIMS about this festering carbuncle of our community. ---
