I hold very strongly the belief that if you have food in your hand and somebody nearby is going hungry, you have a moral obligation to share. (Presuming it isn’t some allergen for them or like that.) ---

My opinion is that the only person who did any attacking is you. It was completely unwarranted. You are literally attacking someone for trying their best to help someone in the only way they could at the time. Not everyone knows your rules. It is helpful that you explained why other things would be better to offer. It is not helpful to attack someone who is trying to help, when there are so many people out there who don’t try to help at all. ---

In Taiwan, the same word, 吐司, is used for toast and the type of bread that can be toasted. When my Taiwanese wife asks me in Japanese to buy トースト (toast) at the supermarket, I considered it an attack on the language. But for fuck’s sake, @Johanna was not attacking anyone. ---

We were always told the Jews left Egypt with Matzoh because they didn’t have time to let the dough in their bread rise before they had to leave Egypt. But maybe the _real_ reason is that Matzoh was easier to carry, unlike bread, which we all know is impossible to transport to a secondary location. ---

This is seriously, not a good look for you. “Attack”? She had just bought food which she intended to eat. When a homeless person asked her for money, she offered to give them that food. I understand that ypu were homeless and that this topic is personal and brings up strong emotions in you. I sincerely recommend stepping away from the Dope for a bit. ---
