Yeah, he’s outta control there. His almost unstated subtext is the police just kill people, never do good. So calling the cops about a maybe-suspicious circumstance amounts to SWATting that person. ---

And that someone alerting the police to someone in a car for _hours_ outside their suburban home on _multiple_ nights is somehow exactly the same as calling the police because teens were playing basketball. He’s got a whole narrative in his head that has zero to do with anything mentioned by anyone so far in that thread. ---

IDK, I think I might be with **mjmartin** on this one. Calling the police on someone who isn’t even doing something outwardly illegal seems a lot like owning a gun to me. You’re a lot likely to get an innocent person killed (maybe even yourself) than stop a criminal who would otherwise do you harm.
