I, also, read it that the plane would applaud getting back underway. I think it’s also true that that spanking a kid on a plane would be taken very poorly by some passengers. But would a lot of people express appreciation if the plane went back to its scheduled departure? Yes. ---

I honestly don’t want to beat this to death, but in the post I linked no one said the plane got back underway. I said if they spanked the kid they’d probably have the parent removed & arrested for that, and Dorjan said he doubted it. So how did her post indicate the cheers & applause were due to the plane getting underway? ---
