Use the incorrect word and you’re a leper, outcast, unclean, but sealion your way through multiple threads and certain people will die on a hill defending you. I’m not complaining exactly, because it’s a part of what makes this place a refuge for people who speak (type) complete sentences, but sometimes… We’re just plain weird people. (oh, and in case you can tell from the reduction in horrific typos, I’m back home with a keyboard at my disposal and not running up against the data limits for reduced price on my phone) ---

Same here. WHY did I slog through all of those? Those were the LAST fantasy books I ever read. Soured me on an entire genre (until I got to do fun voices while reading _‘Mistah Pottahhh’_ to my kids). ---
