It’s a hard thread to evaluate for that poster when the _best_ case scenario is that you’re a bigoted, ivory tower (in this case, soap) half-wit who thinks everyone else is somehow ignorant of the issues in a _very_ complex situation. The fact that they started the thread, but, you know, never suggested any solutions means that to me at least, it’s actually a light-trolling / attention-seeking effort instead. ---

The rest of that post is him talking about being committed and being a now-recovered alcoholic. The rest of the crazy is rather unsurprising in light of that. If true. Too crazy for our blood, but I’m torn between contempt and pity. If he’s being truthful the only thing that sucks worse than reading his drivel is living inside the mind writing it. ---

That’s why I kept it here, as others in the parent thread were quite convinced that they’re a troll, or rather, a trock that’s doing it for attention (based on those who posted back in January). I think I’ll stick with “Just ain’t right”. But fair’s fair, if they’re honest, then yes, a tossup between contempt and pity sounds about right. ---
