Our frequent flying **Magiver** is doing his “impervious to reading” trick in the “Biden has prostate cancer” thread. Starting just below my post cited here and running off and on for the next hundred posts.

> For any men (or spouses of men) in the thread just waking up to the ideas around prostate cancer, we’ve had threads and threads on various aspects of the topic. This particular one started as one guy’s story about his journey and sort of morphed into the omnibus thread on “I’ve been diagnosed, what now?” and the whole rest of the follow-up. Lotta good background there for anyone dealing with PC, whether as the guest of honor or as the SO.

His contention amounts to

> Of course they should have been testing his PSA all the time, and of course there’s no downside to false positives for anyone, and of course I have no idea what the actual physicians in the thread have cited as actual national guidance on PSA testing. But they should have been testing and treating for a long time now instead of suddenly being surprised.

Head. Meet. Wall.
