Looks like I missed some fireworks.

So anyway, [Spiderman just started a thread](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/what-recourse-does-a-victim-s-family-have-if-they-dont-like-the-das-charges-plea-deal/1020031/35) which turns out to be about him being upset that a DA didn’t seek the death penalty for an 18 year old murderer. Yikes.
