Please don’t include investment income. If you are paid by commission, tips, please include those. Bonuses if they are something you always expect normally. What you get from the daily grind in one year. ---

I had zero wages in 2017 (as I have for the past 12 years or so). I still made a decent income. ---

In interest of full disclosure I am semi-retired, just working part time, and live in the inner-city. And the wife still likes her job enough that we have two incomes.
