75 years of conflict spans 3 or 4 generations. There’s a lot of hatred built up within the Israeli and Palestinian people. Any peace plan would face opposition from some elements in both camps. It’s even more complicated by the [factions within the Palestinians.](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinian_Authority) The US needs to stay out of it. Our involvement will only inflame the situation. The Palestinians need aid and help rebuilding. But only as a relief effort. Avoid any direct involvement in the conflict. ---

Brilliant. What’d that have been, late 80’s? First step: relocate them far away and they’ll be some other country’s problem. The problem is you’ll have two million people who might want Denmark-style health care which should be so good the Canadians will want it too. I won’t shake Netanyahu’s hand or even nod at that war criminal. I am therefore a Palestinian, can you believe it? Hamas are the greatest. I hear they don’t even cheat at golf and still have semi-pro handicaps. ---

Here’s the plan for the reconstruction of Gaza, worked out by a civil engineer/urban planner in California back in July, which he then sent to the Trump campaign. In typical engineering fashion, it focuses on concrete, not people, with an assumption that 2 million people will be moved out of the way for the construction to start, with no indication of how **that** socio-economic issue will be dealt with. He says he also tried to talk to the Biden campaign, but they weren’t interested. I guess Joe and Co. let some quibbling ethics about ethnic cleansing get in the way of a magnificent engineering solution. And for some reason, there’s no kosher places delivering to Gaza either. 2. Is Trump going to unilaterally break the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas? 3. Assuming yes, how does he see that working? Just drop SEAL Team Six in and go? Fire some rockets, drop some bombs? Jewish space lasers? It’s only a threat if you can actually do something. Last I checked, the IDF is not the vengeful fist of Trump, no matter how much he might like to think they will be on account of him moving that embassy back in the day. ---

No one wants to take in displaced Palestinians for exactly the same reason that Israel wants them gone: the militants among them form a state within a state that destabilizes the host countries. ---
