I assume they didn’t expect someone would be able to see into there, nobody thinks of the helicopters! “Commanders” is not the worst name that was suggested but it’s extremely generic. And sports writers can easily come up with puns and other zingers from it, so they’ll like it. New QB of the Commanders Lacks Command Commander Chameleons: Washington Team Lacks Identity The HC can have the nickname “Commandant”. And of course, the inevitable “Commie” slur. ---

Just as “commie” is taking the first four letters of “communist” and making a diminutive out of it, you can do the same with “commander”. And in doing so, link the two for derogatory purposes. ---
