# What will Trump do on Inauguration Day?

First off-[Let’s have a purge!](http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/trump-ambassadors_us_586f4a64e4b043ad97e2cd84) ALL U.S. Envoys appointed by the previous President have been ordered to vacate their offices by Inauguration Day, leaving many countries without U.S. Ambassadorial representation for who-knows-how-many months until new ones are appointed. No traditional transition period to train the new guys and find homes for the old guard-Just “Get the fuck off my property and leave the key under the mat.”

5:42 PM: “Great Inagaration day! Dishonest media refuses to report how great it was.”
5:44 PM: “Glad that I turned down the celebrities who were begging to perform. Sad!”
6:02 PM: “Mexico will pay for wall eventually. Will put tax on salsa. Dishonest media refuses to report. Sad!”
(I don’t think Trump is aware of what his transition team is even doing.)

I was hoping people would post things that he was actually doing that day, and leave the imaginary stuff for the Pit.

That’s misleading. No incoming President ever cared to “find homes for the old guard” - what we’re talking about are political appointees, not career diplomats. They are not “old guard” and they don’t need or deserve to be found “homes”.
As for “no U.S. Ambassadorial representation” - career State Department officials stand in when there is no ambassador. I would opine that the representation would actually improve during that period.

Seriously, Czarcasm? Trump’s going to head a parade, make an oath, and stay in the spotlight as long as possible. He’ll make a speech, and then retire to an office with all the news cameras to sign a bunch of symbolic papers repealing the ACA, defunding planned parenthood, start building the Great Wall, deporting undocumented aliens, and start a land war with ISIS. Ya’know…all the stuff he promised to do.
O, and he’ll make teaser statements of the Supreme Court Justice nomination but not actually announce who it is.

I think he will actually take to twitter, and brag about how great the inauguration was, and how the media was mean to him. I also think he will actually insult some minor celebrity on twitter.
He may also insult Obama or Clinton, either via twitter or in a quote at the actual inauguration.
Some of his supporters (above) are already hoping he will insult the outgoing president. They take pleasure in imagining such an event. So it’s not fanciful to think this will happen.
