# What wine goes best with a beer?

What wine would best compliment a full-bodied lager? It seems as though I can’t get out of a “gathering” this weekend. It’s what we call “MANDITORY FUN.”

Wine + Beer = Barf, Puke, Technicolor Yawn, etc.
Got drunk on wine and beer years ago and it made me sicker than a dog. ☹ Lotsa fun getting there no fun being there.

Any wine goes with any beer. I don’t believe in that “no mixing” of types of booze policy that so many people seem to follow. It all gets you wasted:)

Having been married for 10 years, I would have to say the best whine for beer would have to be:
“Huuuuuuuuuuun-neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeey, would you puuuuuuuuuurdy pleeeeeeeeeeeease git me a beeeeeeee-eeeeeeeeeeeeer while yer uuuuuuup.” (“Up” meaning rushing out the front door to a late appointment while the fridge is in the opposite direction.)
I will say though, it only has a shelf life of about 10 years, after that, ------------------\> there’s the door.

Ahh, Mandatory Fun Days. One military tradition I do not miss. Spending time around a bunch of other GI’s was not my idea of fun. I preferred to spend my days off in Germany traveling and drinking in real Gasthausen. I always volunteered to work on those days (not too hard since I was a MP).

Mandatory fun! Yay! Loved that shit in my 20 years in the
Air Force.
Grin…small talk…nurse beer…slowly low crawl into parking lot until you find POV, then stealth mode outta there! Had that shit down to a fine art! 😃
That is, unless one of your buddies got trashed and then started to show his or her ass to the Old Man or the Chief. Better yet, to the Old Man’s wife! That was cool!
I usually stayed for that floor show! Usually followed up by the sudden orders to Thule Air Base, Greenland for you soon-to-be-departing buddy! 😃
