# What words annoy you when they are pronounced correctly?

It’s Go Ji Ra in katakana, the Japanese solution to integrating foreign words in to their vocabulary.

“Vegan” (VEE-gun) makes me wince. I want it to be “VAY-gun”. Apparently the star Vega is correctly pronounced “VEE-gah”, and I don’t like that either.
