I’ve used cow-orker. The rest isn’t lingo exclusive to the SDMB, but here’s where I picked it up. I’ve noticed that I’ve been using international lingo. I tend to pick up slang from our UK and Aussie dopers. I don’t mimic the accent (since there is none in written word), I just use the words and get strange looks from my friends. ---

From the department of receptive language ability: I was recently surprised to see that a product on my kitchen counter proudly labelled itself “Og Trans Fats”. I thought it wonderful that Og should have its very own Trans Fats. ---

I have called upon Og, The Flying Spaghetti Monster, and the Invisible Pink Unicorn at times. Asshat is a favorite invective. Snark, squee, and twee were already in my vocabulary or came to it from different sources. Definitely picked up “fanwank” here. ---

I use “brain bleach” now, without thinking about it. I said it to a guy one day, and he laughed so hard, I thought he was going to injure himself! ---

I used “brain bleach” too and got some surprised looks. Frequently use many of the terms mentioned upthread. I know that they’re not necessarily native to the Dope, but I learned them here. GT ---

I had a hell of a time explaining the Flying Spaghetti Monster to some one. after about 10 minutes, I just gave up. Poor Cecil… I tried to say “Og” once, but I could not pronounce it. ---

I’m afraid a great many Doperisms have entered my regular everyday vocabulary. Some of them are the not so nice words, such as f\*tard. I’m good and pissed when I use that word and it is rare. Snark, squick, clue-by-four, and brain bleach have found a space in my common vocabulary. Funny how all the stuff starts to sneak in, isn’t it? ---

I’ve exclaimed “My eyes! My beautiful eyes!” (when I want it to be known that I wish I hadn’t looked at something), which I picked up from here - although I suspect it didn’t originate here. ---

We use TMI all the time; we’ve used it so much, I think our friends and family understand it now. We usually use it in the, “TMI, MAN, TMI!!” exclamatory form. I noticed last night while watching the news that the Straight Dope has given me some words for things that I previously felt but didn’t know how to communicate. A guy was talking about something, and I had a feeling that what he was saying wasn’t necessarily true, and could use some back-up data - my overall feeling was, “CITE?” ---
