# What would be the most controversial Pope name?

The San Pietro in Vincoli church in Rome will show you the chains that Pete was chained up in during his trip to Rome. Next to the altar in St. Peter’s Basilica there are steps going down to the sub-basement, which is an ancient Roman necropolis, and they have Peter’s tomb there, so labeled, directly below the high altar, cause he was supposed to have been killed on the Vatican Hill and buried there.

I assume you’re talking about Alexander VI (Rodrigo Borgia). The last Pope Alexander was Alexander VIII (Pietro Ottoboni) and there was nothing particularly wrong with him. He was 79 when he became Pope and only lasted for sixteen months.
