No outings miles away if I’m depending on someone else for a ride, unless it’s someone I really trust and can talk to about the need to leave should it arrise. I was supposed to go to a baseball game a few weeks ago, while out of state at a conference, but when I realized that I would be in another city with no way to get back from the stadium if I felt like I had to just get out of there…\ Fortunately ( 😕 ) the plane ride was very rough on me and so using the excuse that I wasn’t up to it was not a stretch at all. ---

If anyone ever asks if the subscription fee is worth it, point to this thread. I’ve started therapy again today because of it. ---

Giving up would be walking into the deep woods in winter without a cell phone. Sort of like the Cree tradition of sickly old people just going into the woods and lying down to die. ---
