Well what I want is remove him from the equation so that I get paid directly and not him and he won’t be going willingly that’s for sure. Starting my own business seems to be one of the few sane ways of getting myself out of this dissatisfied and frustrated state that I have found myself in. Thanks for the suggestions man. ---

Very good point but what if the next of kin doesn’t has any idea about the work that it is to be done? Won’t the company that’s handing the cheques instead hire me directly so that they don’t have to deal with the kin? ---

So I ended kind of starting my own business and I’m still working at the same site as they decided to terminate my former boss’s service and instead hire me directly. There were some hitches in the start and along the way but for now things seem to be going fine in my professional life but now I must try to advance my love life or lack thereof. ---

Coincidentally, I was just watching a documentary about the women office workers’ organization 9 to 5, which loosely inspired the movie. During pre-production, the cast and crew attended meetings of the organization to ask questions and seek out anecdotes that could be useful. At some point they asked “ **have you ever fantasized about killing your boss**?” Every hand shot up (in the telling). One woman fantasized about grinding him up and using him in the drip coffeemaker basket to brew a pot. ---
