A complete personality makeover, going back and making restitution to all the myriad people he’s screwed over in his life, suddenly turning into a Democrat, revoking all of his previous EO’s, and appointing a whole new set of agency heads and Cabinet members.
And, finally, present himself before this army, put his head between his legs, and kiss his own arse.

I am far from a Trump supporter, but if we’re all better off four years from now than we are today then I’ll retroactively decide that I liked him.
I don’t expect that to happen, but I’ll be happy if I’m proven wrong.

There are things he could do to make me hate him less, mostly regarding policy and appointments. If he reverted to being moderate democrat, I could perhaps tolerate the next few years. Given his personality, however, I will never like the man.

I’ve loathed him from the moment I had any exposure to him; the first season of The Apprentice. He’s shown me nothing in the intervening years to change my mind, and I’ll forever remain baffled that he’s somehow our 45th president.

Doesn’t seem possible.
Bill Gates reversed his reputation from a ruthless businessman to philanthropist making a genuinely positive contribution to humanity.
But Gates, although indeed ruthless, was never despicable in a moral sense. He may have screwed over certain individuals but never denigrated entire swaths of the human race. And even at that, it took tens of billions to buy back his reputation.
Trump doesn’t have that kind of cash, and the price would be higher anyway. So, probably not.

Yep. His brand is tarnished beyond any conceivable remedy. He could strip to the waist and crawl to the National Cathedral on his knees, begging for forgiveness, and I’d turn my back upon him.
