Throwing hot coffee on me, wearing my nice slacks. If somebody keyed my car. If somebody peed on my bed. Somebody running his car right into my house, then leaving. Kicking my monitor right through the window. Spitting in the big, big punch bowl with really good punch. A really strong guy tearing my shoes in half. ---

I’m not violent but I’d probably be tempted to thump them one if they hurt my family, friends, a child or any of my animals…or any animal for that matter. ---

I think if someone did anything to hurt a family member or someone I cared about. I am in gereral a pretty calm adn understanding person, but when it comes to people I love being hurt, I would like to say I would have self control, but I really don’t think I would ---

I have not yet punched anyone in the face, but that’s only because my ex-boyfriend was six hours’ drive away from me when I found out he’d been cheating. So, if someone were to cheat on me, then cover it up for months, he’d probably wake up with a broken jaw. 😃 ---

If someone tried to hurt my kid I’d do more than punch 'em in the face. But a slug to the nose would be a good start. ---

Someone slapped me in the face once, which resulted in me immediately breaking his nose. This was back in high school though. It would take alot more now. ---

Lay a finger on someone I love … only your hair won’t hurt. Try and harm a friend … I’m all over you like a bad suit. Injure a child … you better have your will filled out. Go after my family … say your prayers. Try to hurt my animals … you’re toast. I can usually put up with a lot of crap. Violence is another matter entirely. Start it and I’ll finish it for you. I can be your best friend or your worst enemy. ---

I’m going with **Zenster** on all of the above I don’t have a pet, but I’ve seen the connection that pet owners have with their animals so I can see how somebody would throw down over that. I don’t know how many people are gonna walk this road with me, but repeated bigotry/racism directed towards myself or family/friends will cause problems. Guaranteed. ---

Last time I punched somebody in the face, it was for shooting staples at me (and several other people in the room) from one of those heavy-duty staple guns with the big squeeze lever. I should point out that I asked him twice to stop. ---

I’ve been in interracial relationships and can relate to the second part of your post, **Sqube**. Typically, bigots and the like are so pathetic that it’s hard to go off on them. If they keep spouting off enough of that evil crap after a warning, yeah, I’d probably have to dole out some parking lot therapy. I’ll walk that road with you pal. However much threatening a child is evil, I still regret one incident. I was riding on a bus and this one bigger kid was physically bullying a younger kid. I told him to lay off and that what he was doing wasn’t cool. He stopped his misconduct. To this very day, I wish instead I had told him (falsely) that I rode that particular bus frequently and the next time I ever saw him pulling that horseradish again, I’d beat the stuffing out of him. It makes me sad to think how that little snot probably went right on doing that sort of crap. I find it hard to come down hard on kids, but bullies really trip my trigger. ---

If someone insulted my family after repeated warnings. Don’t mess with my kin. If someone sexually accosted me (a grab or a fondle without permission), that would merit a smackdown as well. Hm…I can’t think of anything else that a good tongue-lashing wouldn’t cure. ---
