Really, oddly enough I thought it echoed “Two Out of Three” and that he won’t commit.
I want you
I need you
but there ain’t no way I’m ever gonna love you,
Now, don’t be sad,
Two out of three ain’t bad
I would do anything for love
But I won’t do that.
It also apparently has something to do with a failure to share his soft drink.
And the video for “Anything for Love” gets my vote for WTF video of the year for whenever they were playing it.
