For some reason, the first thing I thought of was grey- not all the same shade though, and only spelled with the “e”, not the “a”. [yoda] Silly synesthetic am I, Yeeees… [/yoda] ---

Let’s see: what else changes its “mind” so often, never stops running, never gets smaller, has everything, nothing at the same time and moves as quickly (for some). Hmmmmm…looks like… ANY woman…meets…Forrest Gump…meets Dom Delouise (bad spelling and all)…meets…my ex…meets JLo Hmmm…still stuck with what that smells like…but a step in the right direction I think. ---

Parsley. Think about it: it’s a garnish, and a little distraction. The essence of the Internet is that it’s a distraction, right? So the Internet could REALLY smell like parsley. 🙂 (the vibe is definitely parsley) “But parsley doesn’t have a great recognizable smell!” I can hear you say. Well, true… but that’s the thing, isn’t it? 😉 Does the Internet _really_ have a smell? No, not really… because bits and bytes of data have no inherent smell. However, the vibe is most definitely parsley. F\_X ---

The smell of musty ozone, like an electric racetrack gives off. The smell of hurried sex and guilt. The smell of old books and fresh printing, think school tests fresh from the mimeograph. The smell of possibilities and failure, Graduation day and hobo combined. Most of all, I think it smells like the crowd smells when they congregate for an event, like a baseball game, or the crush when a subway train opens it’s doors. Melodramatic? Me? 🙂 ---

Hey Wonko, you too? You ever get the tastes have shapes/colors thing going? (For instance, Spaghetti tastes like a purple oval.) I think the internet would smell a bit like laundry soap, old soda, stale beer and sweat. a dash of scented candles, and shampoo. It’s generally a clean smell, but has a hint of dust spicing it up. ---
