# What would you do if you won 10 billion dollars?

IANAL, but if I understand correctly, if you were to run up a record of many consecutive frivolous lawsuits, a judge could begin to award punitive damages against you, to deter you from doing so again. And the awards could get successively larger and larger until your multi-billion dollar fortune is in jeopardy.  
Can our Straight Dope lawyers comment on this?

I sorta like the idea of building a full size reproduction of a WW2 US navy heavy cruiser, complete with working 8 inch and five inch turrets
