# What would you do with a big storage amount of emergency-ration meals that you inherited?

I don’t know anything about that type of commercial rations. I will say that military MREs range from not bad to pretty good. The early ones were horrific but they constantly work on improving and adding new varieties.

I had a bunch of military MREs left to me in the late 90s/early 00s, and they were perfectly fine. It ain’t gourmet food, but it’s not that much worse than a TV dinner. I ate through them for fun and curiosity, and I had an actual choice for conventional food, but I found the MREs satisfying enough.
