You already stated you work 4 not 5 days, but if I work 5 days, I prefer a Wed off over either a Fri or Mon. Getting a day off when it’s stacked w/ two more isn’t as nice as having every day of the work week be either a first or last day before a day off.
IOW, take a mid-week day(s) off.
