I don’t know why I watch these damn shows, but I always get sucked into them… last night’s makeovers were three people who had some slightly disfigured noses/chins/cheeks/stomachs/eyes, you name it. The sheer joy and happiness they got out of being beautiful after 4+ surgeries just blows me away. According to friends and family, they are now “happy, confident, outgoing, getting more dates, and even threatening other residents in the area due to their new beauty.” So is this as GRAND as it really seems? Does making an ugly duckling into a swan guarantee happiness? I decided if I would be chosen for this, I would get liposuction and a breast augmentation… maybe even have some cheekbones thrown in for the hell of it. ---

I was at the laundrymat and it was on there. I swear! My extreme makeover would be to have my brain implanted into Antonio Banderras’ body. But I would try to keep the accent. ---

I’d get my teeth completely re-done. Slight breast-reduction. Tummy tuck. Lipo those thighs! Remove the tattoo. I think that’s it…I’m really pretty happy with my face except for my teeth, and they’re not THAT bad. Of course, I’m young. Give me a few years and I’ll be adding a face-lift to the list. (Of all of these, the only ones I’d seriously consider doing “for real” are the reduction & the tattoo removal. Maybe the teeth if we win the lottery.) ---

I’ve actually thought of applying to be on the show. Since I’m having weight loss surgery next month, I would have to wait on the tummy tuck. But besides that, I want a boob lift (not sure if I’d get the fake ones), a chin implant and lipo under the chin, my flabby arms done (again, after surgery) and my teeth fixed. They’re slightly crooked because I wasn’t wearing my retainer. ---

I’ve never seen the show and probably won’t and I’m generally happy with the exterior but I would like to get my knees fixed. I don’t have knock knees persay (as my knees don’t touch), but they are a little crooked. I would also like to get this pine tar removed from my leg. I’ve been scrubbing for a week and it won’t come off. Now, if they could only rewire my upstairs… ---

Teeth straightened and whitened, shoulda wore those braces just a wee bit longer. LASIK for my eyes, someday before I die I’d like to see the O-face clearly! My skin looks okay now, but I suppose after the eye surgery I’ll see millions of tiny imperfections, best to plan on some dermabrasion I guess. They always seem to color the hair, straightening it if it’s curly, perming it if it’s straight…they can do whatever they wish with mine, it’ll grow out eventually. I don’t want breast implants per se, do they make miniature hydraulics yet? Gravity sucks. ---

I watched the episode last night and have been thinking about this all day! Well, I’m in the process of losing weight, so once I’m done, I’d like to get the tummy tuck and something of an arm tuck. Boob lift, LASIK, lipo the double chin, and laser hair removal on the face and arms. Oh yeah, I’d like to get the teeth whitened. I think that’s all. ---

eyes to thighs. There’s nothing that I’m overwhelmingly fond of, and none of it has done me any good in an aesthetic sense (though I am thankful that everything has been perfectly functional, which is not to be overlooked). So, they could do it all. It’s probably a very good thing I don’t have that level of disposable income. ---

Nose centered (I think _I’m_ the only thing more deviant than my septum) and ears leveled. Teeth re-straightened, after wisdoms partly undid years of orthodontia. Oh, and have the unibrow permanently zapped apart. ---

Things I’d consider doing regardless: start over with new teeth (folks never had money for those braces and now I’m in my 20s :() and see a dermatologist for those pesky acne scars. Things I’d do for the show but not in my everyday “reality”: lipo to the thighs and tush ---
