We all have our favorite quotes, some good enough for our sig lines, but since our sig’s must be so short, a lot of great quote’s just don’t make the cut. So, my question is, what is your favorite quote, that didn’t make the cut, and if you know, who said it, and under what circumstances. I will start. “If figure skating were easy, they’d call it hockey.” Bumper sticker I saw in a magazine. “What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it’s all about” My sisters bumper sticker. The thing to recall about Dragons is that it takes a special person to deal with them. If you lie to them they will steal from you. If you attack them without cause they will dismember you. If you run from them they will laugh at you. It is thus best to deal calmly, openly and fairly with Dragons: Give them all they buy and no more or less, and they will do the same by you. Stand at their back and they will stand at yours. Always remember that a Dragon is first a Dragon and only then a friend, a partner, a lover. I just finished rereading _Catch 22_. Almost every page of that novel has a quote that is worthy of a sig line. I wish that I could have included all of them. Do they have to be recognizable quotes? I mean, given the choice I’d reproduce written testimony from the two women who have told me I was the absolute best lover ever, alongside my phone number, and then hope for the best. Anything else I might choose to post would either be too long (examples include entries from Rorschach’s journal in _Watchmen_, and various sections of _How to Be a Superhero_), or too obscure (see previous parenthetical). ---

I presume it has? Yup it has. My neck problem, which prevented me from attending the Lunch Bunch on Friday, has mostly cleared up. **Anniz** arrived without a problem on Saturday. The only hitch is that my home computer(s) keep dying, so she hasn’t been able to get online. I should hopefully resolve that tonight or this weekend. Well, the reason I didn’t use the sigs I wanted to is because either a) they were in German or b) they contained questionable language, and Coldfire told me on like day ONE not to have overly explicit sigs. anyway, my favorite, and its good advice, is: “You’ve got to know the rules. Don’t shoot up, don’t black out, don’t go down on strange pussy.” - Eric Bogosian jarbaby
