yeah, I know irken. Not sure what the problem is with snopes, sometimes they disappear for a while. Anyway, there was a seven line poem on the guys tombstone, the first line started with F, the second line started with U, well you get the idea. ---

I’m not going to have a marker or stone. I want my ashes scattered. In that wonderful cemetery in Savannah, there is a poet buried (whose name escapes me at the moment.) When he was living, he saw a ship on the Savannah River that interested him. The name of it was “Cosmic Voyager.” He looked in the newspaper to see where it was going and all that was written was “Cosmic Voyager – destination unknown.” And that’s what is on his stone. I really like that! His stone is actually a bench that encases his remains. He said that he wanted to have a place that people could sit and relax and drink martinis. There was a young woman doing just that when I found the site. ---
