I’d like to see an atmospheric nuclear explosion, with my own eyes. From a safe distance, preferably. (And, most preferably, at some place that wouldn’t upset me terribly to be at the center of an atomic blast.) ---

Probably, more than anything else, I’d like to experience being fluently multilingual. But then, maybe it’s no differfent that what I can do now, which is to speak/understand English like either a lawyer or a caller on a sports talk show, which are really two completely different languages, held together by a common syntax. ---

[Earthrise.](http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/imagegallery/image_feature_1249.html) Hang out with any animal, wild or tame, in any environment, in just my own skin, and just be able to interact with them as a member of the family of living things. Hug a lion. Talk to a dog. Run with wolves. Sing with whales. Fly. Like a bird, although preferably with no changes to my body. (My dreams of flying still use my current body image, so that’s what I had in mind.) Sit down at a musical instrument (or pick one up, if it’s hand-held) and be a virtuoso at performing anything I can think of, either spontaneous or already-written, from my mind. ---

Live and work as a resident alien in some place like Africa or China. I guess I could but I never will and working with a lot of foreign-born people who plan/hope to return home some day just has gotten me curious about it all. The language problems, culture and keeping my culture, the differences in diet and experience - it would be a challenge and quite the experience. ---

I’d like to slip into the body of say Robert Plant for example at the height of Zeppelin’s career. Being able to sing and hit beautiful high notes. Be at a famous venue like Madison Square Garden and see what it feels like to have a crowd giving me a standing ovation. Normally I’m an introvert and hate being the center of attention, but I’ve heard the feeling of being on stage with a receptive audience is really something. ---

On the realistic side, I’d like to Scuba dive and learn the tango. On the fantasy side, I’d like to go to bat against a major league pitcher. Even a weak foul ball would be an accomplishment, I think.
