I think I would keep it simple and focus on comfort foods. A big batch of fried chicken (thighs, legs, and wings), smashed potatoes drowning in butter, steamed green beans, and down home mac & cheese. Maybe a beer, too. For dessert, an enormous bowl of vanilla ice cream. Maybe some bacon too, because, you know, bacon. mmm ---

A few pounds of good NC style pulled pork barbeque and a pitcher of a good sour beer. Not sure which beer, but I will decide if this ever needs to happen. ---

If I knew I was about to die, eating would be the last thing on my mind. I’ve often wondered how people could work up an appetite knowing they’re about to be killed. I’d choose something I didn’t like, if I had to choose. If I chose something I loved I’d be sad thinking I’d never get to eat it again. So…canned ravioli, sauerkraut, a diet coke and vanilla-flavoured ice cream. All things I don’t enjoy eating. ---

Do they allow wine or beer for last meals? In all the news stories I’ve ever read seems I’ve never heard of alcohol being served in a last meal situation. Surely there’d be a demand for a 7-course meal, aka “cheeseburger and a 6-pack.” ---

2 fried chicken breasts, extra crispy Homemade baked mac & cheese, extra cheesy. Mashed potatoes with corn on top Endless crab legs A pound of bacon Dessert: hot apple pie with vanilla ice cream, with toasted walnuts rolled in cinnamon/sugar and hot caramel sauce over it Plus the time to eat and enjoy it all. These are my favorite foods. ---

Beans & Cabbage. Hard boiled eggs with plenty of beer. Broccoli, Cauliflower. Then when I was killed, I’d know I crapped farted and peed all over their expensive murder machines. :dubious: ---

A strip steak done Pittsbugh-style A side of spaghetti with olive oil and garlic A small thin crust pizza with bacon and mushroom A couple links of hot sausage grilled with peppers and onions a good crusty loaf of bread A big jug of chianti if I can have alcohol, sparkling water if not.
