1. A peaceful way out of the current political situation. 2. An end to poverty, or at least the starving-in-the-streets sort of poverty (I would feel guilty putting my own shabby-genteel grad student existence in the same category, although if the Wish Fairy _wants_ to give me some extra money I wouldn’t say no). 3.
